What We Collect

"We collect your email, shipment details (pickup, destination, weight, dimensions), voice recordings during voice-quote sessions, and usage analytics (bookings, plan tier) to improve user experience. We do not sell user data to third parties."

• Email — to identify your account and send booking confirmations.
• Shipment details — pickup, destination, weight, dimensions, notes you provide for quotes.
• Voice audio — transcribed by OpenAI Whisper in-memory; audio is not persisted.
• Usage analytics — bookings count, plan tier, referral activity.
• Payment metadata — Stripe session IDs only; full card details never touch our servers.

How We Use Your Data

• Delivering quotes and connecting you with carriers.
• Billing, subscription management, and fraud prevention.
• Improving pricing accuracy, voice model quality, and app performance.
• Customer support and incident response.

Third-Party Processors

We rely on these vendors to operate Haulr. Each has their own privacy policy:

• Stripe — payment processing.
• OpenAI — voice transcription (Whisper), text parsing (GPT-5.2), dispatcher audio (TTS-1). Data is not used to train OpenAI models per their API terms.
• FedEx, UPS, DHL, and partner carriers — shipment details are shared when you book a load with them.
• Emergent / Kubernetes hosting — infrastructure.
• MongoDB — data storage.

We Do Not Sell Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. Period. We only share data with the third-party processors above as strictly needed to deliver the service.

Data Retention

Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. Voice recordings are transcribed in-memory and discarded within seconds. Shipment records are kept for 7 years to comply with US transportation and tax regulations. You may request account deletion any time at support@thehaulr.com.

Your Rights

If you're in California, EU/UK, or other jurisdictions with privacy laws, you have rights to access, correct, delete, and port your data, and to opt out of targeted advertising (we don't do that anyway). Email us to exercise these rights.

Children

Haulr is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Security

We use HTTPS across all traffic, encrypted database connections, and hashed tokens for authentication. No system is perfectly secure — in the unlikely event of a breach affecting your data, we'll notify you within 72 hours.
